Ray Poon is a policy researcher specializing in regional economic development and Hong Kong-Mainland relations. He is Assistant Director at Shanghai-Hong Kong Development Institute of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Fudan University, missioned to transform professional knowledge into social applications to create value for public betterment.

With an aspiration to connect youth leaders, he serves as Executive Director at the Hong Kong Academy of Politics and Public Policy and sits in committees of Yan Oi Tong YES Youth Academy and Youth Space. He believes young people who pour their heart and passion into serving Hong Kong will brush colour into the city’s future.
